Safety During COVID-19
Purpose
The purpose of this COVID-19 guidelines is to explain additional control measures to be taken
by WJO in order to minimize the impact of COVID-19 infection among employees, visitors and
contractors by adopting suitable prevention and protection measures. With continued risk of
COVID-19 virus, it is essential to ensure that workplace is prepared to minimize the impact by
reducing the potential for spread, having effective tracing and isolation methods that allow
sufficient critical workforce to remain operational.
This standard has been developed to meet all requirements of KPC, SAC, KGOC and Kuwait
Ministry of Health for prevention and mitigation of COVID-19 infection among WJO workforce
Objective
This standard establishes requirements for WJO workforce by means of
- Preparing WJO facilities in line with accepted practices
- Providing guidelines to WJO workforce and contractorsfor reducing the spread of COVID19 when detected within the workforce.
Scope
The controls and measures in this standard cover and apply to all WJO employees, contractors
and visitors within WJO operational control, including but not limited to
- All WJO operational areas, offices, workshops, control rooms and any other support facilities
- Contractors facilities including yards, fabrication shops and camps
- All transportation vehicles used by WJO employees and contractors
